# themePath

O variável `themePath` define o caminho absoluto para o tema, podendo ser usada para montar o caminho dos recursos que o tema usa.

**Essa variável não deve mais ser usada**. Recentemente depreciamos ela em favor de uma função  [ asset()](/themes/construindo-seu-template/referencias/funcoes/asset.md) mais precisa e inteligente. No futuro iremos remover essa variável.&#x20;
